It is not the end

It is not the end

I stared at the sun diving in the bosom of the sea through a bloody plot waving with the warm wind breezing over my face, I stretched my hand attempting to hold the sun, but sadly my effort was in vain. Why shall the sun leave? How can we do without it shining over Gaza sea? Hardly I can believe that she is gone, and we are turning to sad nights without the starry sky.

Minutes elapsed while I was try to ease it to my mind that this is not the end. Of course, this is not the end because the sunset will be followed by dawn when the sun rises again to mollify the coldness of the bleeding hearts.

Someone might ask what are these disturbed thoughts and extended images of sadness? And why? In fact, the assassination of the leader Mahmoud Al Mabhouh prompt inside me a strange desire to incarnate my feelings anyway so that someone might share me my emotions.

The assassination of the leader al Mabhouh, which holds the Zionist dark fingerprints, was really difficult for all the Palestinian people who mourned this hero last Friday. The Palestinian people believe that the crime is completely Zionist because of the bright history of the martyr. Before martyrdom, no one had known about this hero who was one of the first leaders in Al Qassam Brigades, and who sacrificed everything for his just cause. At first, he lost his house when the Zionist occupation destroyed it; then, he went far from his family as the Zionist occupation exiled him; and finally, he sacrificed his soul for the Palestinian fair cause.

But it entertains the soul that we, as Muslims, believe that the martyr does not die, but he turns to the eternal life in heaven. Also, we, the Palestinians, believe that the martyrdom of the heroes does not weaken us, but it breathes life into our resistance till we free our home.

All words can not elegize this man who passed away for his home… I wrote these words to introduce an amazing elegy written for the martyr:

By SHEREZADE

Palestine mourns the loss of her son

Gone to soon, from death you did not run

Our pride and joy dwells in men like you

An example to all, your resistance so true

In every home you will be born

From your motherland you will never be torn

I long for my words to reach the sky

Your legacy will live forever it will never die

Your memory one that never fades

You live forever in the Al Qassam Brigades

We will wait until that blessed day

When those responsible will be made to pay

Agents from the Israeli folk

On your very own blood you will be made to choke

Heed the words of a matriarch

Sons of Zion your lives will be propelled into the dark
