Banishing prisoners violates international law
Al Qassam Website/Agencies - The Palestinian Ahrar Movement has lashed out at the Zionist policy of deporting prisoners after concluding their terms in prison, describing it as a violation of the international laws.
Muwiya Al-Soufi, one of the movement' leaders, said during the weekly sit-in staged by relatives of prisoners at the Red cross premises in Gaza city on Monday, asked international institutions and human rights groups worldwide to stand up against such "arbitrary measures".
He also advocated expediting the convening of the international conference on Palestinian prisoners proposed by premier Ismail Haneyya.
Soufi asked the Palestinian masses to rally behind the question of those prisoners through organizing seminars, conferences and marches in support of their issue and to expose such practices.
The Zionist occupation authority on Sunday deported a released Gazan prisoner to the West Bank.
